Originally from Ballymun in North Dublin, Gary completed his Masters degree and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Limerick. He now works as a Clinical Psychologist with the Child and Family Primary Care Psychology team in Limerick.
Gary’s PhD dissertation explored the experiences of men who have been abused by their female intimate partners. “Giving these men who experience stigma at best and vilification at worst the chance to have their voices heard was a privilege”.
