The area of domestic violence including coercive control is very broad and complex. Indeed the area of violence against men, especially by women is an area that is still relatively hidden in Ireland.
Policy and legislation is progressing however we do have a lot of work to do in order for dads, their children and their families to be acknowledged and included as victims/survivors.
If you wish to add your voice to the work we do, we suggest that you write to your local TD’s outlining what more in your opinion can be done. Your local TD can get in touch with us or bring your concerns to Government debates.
