Shane brings extensive leadership experience across the nonprofit and advocacy sectors. With a background in counselling, psychotherapy, and organisational development, Shane has held senior roles with the Psychological Society of Ireland, Drogheda Homeless Aid, and the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
He is deeply committed to supporting men affected by trauma and domestic abuse, and is passionate about advancing men’s health and wellbeing. Shane’s expertise spans governance, strategic planning, service delivery, and national-level advocacy. He holds a BA in Psychoanalytical Studies and additional qualifications in counselling, psychotherapy, and media.
At Men’s Aid, Shane leads the organisation’s mission to provide vital support to men, their children, and families experiencing domestic violence, while expanding the reach and impact of its services nationwide.
