Men’s Aid welcomes Linda Dolan to our Board.
Linda has worked in technology for almost 30 years and has a BA Hons in Photography and Multimedia from the University of Westminster in London.
Originally from North Dublin , Linda’s corporate journey began as a digital imaging technologist for Kodak Professional in the UK where she spent most of the 1990’s
Upon her return to Ireland she embarked on a career with IBM Ireland before transitioning to Lenovo in 2005.
In Lenovo she has spent most of her time working in relationship management with Fortune 500 customers both in Ireland and around the Globe.
The past few years have been spent building the Global Enterprise capabilities and value proposition for Motorola, a Lenovo company.
As a Global Sales Director she leads a team around the world . Pre pandemic this involved much Global travel which she hopes will return soon.
Linda has a strong knowledge of Corporate governance and her experience in dealing with Corporate Ireland , her connections in large Global companies , her understanding of what is needed to build and grow brand presence, should make her a valuable member of the board.
She believes in non-gender bias when it comes to domestic abuse and coercive control and is keen to advocate for equality in support services for all victims of abuse.
Linda has been living in Navan for the past two decades and is mother to one son Killian. She enjoys travel, good food and wine, pub quizzes, hiking and has a love of Gaelic football and the Dublin team.
The board and team at Men’s Aid look forward to working with Linda in the coming years as we represent the voice of vulnerable boys and men experiencing partner violence.
Linda joins our board at a busy, challenging and exciting time as we commence our new strategy for the coming 3 to 5 years in order to start providing equal supports for all victims of domestic violence.
